Rebuilding: One Life at a Time
LSFM empowers disadvantaged South Africans rebuild their communities in several ways:
HIV/AIDS Counseling and Support
LSFM offers support for those affected by HIV/Aids including small group counseling, psycho-social support, and soup kitchens.
Hope Through Education
The Education Fund provides scholarships to college bound youth from the disadvantaged communities. Computer training enhances job skills through computer literacy. Soccer clinics bring teamwork and life-skills to township youth. The Sewing Mamas teaches unemployed women how to sew and develop a small business.
Church Planting
LSFM offers vibrant, multi-cultural Sunday services and weekly small group meetings. LSFM church members serve their community through door-to-door visitation, evangelism rallies and local community outreach initiatives.

LSFM has purchased land in Delft township to build a Christian community center. This center will host both church meetings and community development projects like the HIV/Aids support group, Computer and Sewing Training and a proposed community day care and pre-school.
Announcing Living Spring Campus Fellowship
After many hours of hard work in getting it off the ground, LSFM is excited about our new program of campus ministry. It’s called Living Spring Campus Fellowship (LSCF). In January we received word from the University of the Western Cape (UWC) that LSCF had been approved as an on-campus activity. UWC has a student population of about 15,000 and offers both undergraduate and graduate degrees. We held our first five meetings during the week of January 24 and followed this up with a Sunday service January 30. Thanks to all the LSFM people who helped bring this about with a special thank you to Pastor Kwang Woo Nam from the local YWAM base who led the worship and praise. All the meetings were very well attended and we are getting to know many of the students. We now have a regular meeting every Friday evening and a worship service every Sunday. We anticipate that this program will soon be approved for other campuses in the area including the University if Cape Town and the Cape University of Technology.
